The TH-400 race transmission is designed to provide the strength and durability necessary for today's race prepped engines. The transmission includes the finest internal components and is hand assembled by highly trained technicians. When building one of these transmissions an eight step process is closely followed. The key steps are as follows; Teardown, cleaning, inspection, sub assembly of the major components, air check, final assembly, function testing and packing. Each transmission is function tested on the B&M transmission DynoMaster with key pressures monitored in the forward and reverse gears along with neutral pressures. Ideal for bracket cars where a three speed transmission is needed to provide a starting line advantage.
