This 383 delivers Big-Block-style performance. Using the sturdy 383 bottom end including four-bolt mains, a forged crankshaft and heavy duty rods, we topped it with Edelbrock E-210 Aluminium cylinder heads to enable 420hp and 435 lb-ft of torque. The E-210 heads use large intake runners for maximum flow, 2.08/1.60-inch valves and a revised exhaust port. A roller camshaft with more than 0.500-inch lift on both the intake and exhaust sides helps this potent engine maximise airflow. It is complemented by friction reducing aluminium roller rocker arms. This crate engine package includes; Holley 750cfm vacuum secondary carburettor, Victor JR manifold, MSD Distributor, Flexplate and Harmonic Balancer. With this 383 crate engine, you get the best of both worlds Big-Block power with Small-Block efficiency.
