Weiand introduced the original "swing arm" style blower drives way back in the early 1960's and they rapidly became standard equipment for front engine dragsters, gassers and altereds. The drive was also featured in the 1970's cult classic "Mad Max" movie on Mel Gibson's Interceptor Coupe and has been Discontinued for years.

Due to popular demand, Weiand has brought back the classic "swing arm" front drive and matching correct pulleys to make building that nostalgia racer or Mad Max replica easier than ever. Drive kits are currently available in unpolished / as cast for installation on any 6-71 Supercharger case assembly. Complete Supercharger kits will be available in 2011, inquire about your application.
